Wellington Harbour is often cited as one of the most spectacular in the world and will host the State Capital Classic on Sunday 25 January 2015.

Choose from four distances depending upon your confidence and ability and join in with the growing number of recreational swimmers who have made this New Zealand’s most popular ocean swim series.

Wellingtonian’s have never been afraid of taking a dip and last season this event even attracted the local Mayor and a large number of her council staff.

The State Capital Classic is also popular with support crews who can grab a decent coffee and enjoy some incredible vantage points along the Oriental Beach Beaches which hug the event course.

As with all of the events in our series, New Zealand’s volunteer Surf Life Savers will be on duty.
