However you CAN STILL ENTER into the event by coming along to our Event Registration 11.30am - 1.30pm at the Sustainable Coastlines Flagship Education Centre, Wynyard Quarter on Friday 17 November, or as an absolute last resort, on event day (Saturday 18 November) at the event start line in Quinton Park, Bayswater from 5am - 6.30am.

Don’t be – we have an enormous and talented support team on the water who are right there with you for your every stroke from Surf Life Saving NZ to the Harbour Master, Coastguard, patrol vessels and the NZ Police, our safety planning will provide you piece of mind and confidence whilst in the water.

A decision will be made by the Race Director in conjunction with Surf Life Saving NZ

In the event of weather that prevents the swim from being able to cross the Harbour safely the swim will move to a shorter course in the Auckland Viaduct. The briefing will take place at the finish line in Karanga Plaza. If this decision is made you will be informed first thing on the event morning by email / text and on our website & Facebook page.
