We have it all and Wellington City Council is proud to sponsor the Capital Classic, Event 3 of the New Zealand Ocean Swim Series.
There are numerous recreational facilities owned and operated by the Council including the ASB Sport Centre, Club Active Gym, Recreation Centres and Pools. In Wellington, there are five Council-run all-year indoor pools and two summer outdoor pools – Khandallah and Thorndon. Plus the beautiful harbour which will host this great Ocean Swim event.
In the lead up to the Capital Classic our pools offer great swim memberships that are an economical option if you swim at the Council’s pool three or more times a week. For more information on our memberships please check our website.
Every person that enters the New Zealand Ocean Swim Series has the option to purchase a 20 visit swim card and get 5 visits for free. Just show your proof of entry at any Council pool to be eligible for this special deal. Open to Ocean Swim participants only, limit one per entrant.
